Football Recap: Billings Senior Takes a Loss

Billings Senior fell victim to Gallatin and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Raptors. Having soared to a lofty 31 points in the game before, the Broncs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Gallatin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyson Scheel, who rushed for 182 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. Carter Dahlke was another key player, gaining 112 total yards and three touchdowns.

Billings Senior dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Gallatin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Billings Senior will challenge Sentinel at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so the Broncs' offense will have their work cut out for them. Gallatin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
