Basketball Recap: Claremore Christian's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Claremore Christian was riding high fresh off their 48-9 takedown of Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Claremore Christian Warriors received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 47-33 to the Riverfield Country Day Ravens. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Riverfield Country Day was led to victory by Lily Clark and Stella Thomas. Clark posted 15 points and three steals, while Thomas put up 17 points. Clark continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Coutant, who earned three points and nine rebounds.

Claremore Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2. As for Riverfield Country Day, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Claremore Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 48-44 loss against Mingo Valley Christian on the 13th. As for Riverfield Country Day, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-14 defeat against Wilson-Henryetta on the 12th.
