Softball Recap: North Stokes Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for North Stokes's offense. They lost 15-0 to the South Stokes Sauras on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sauras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.

North Stokes has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-1 record this season. As for South Stokes, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Stokes will head out to take on North Surry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Stokes, they will venture away from home to challenge East Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Sauras surely won't give up without a fight.
