Soccer Recap: Western Harnett Comes Up Short

Western Harnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the West Johnston Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Johnston this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on October 2nd.

Western Harnett's loss dropped their record down to 1-14-1. As for West Johnston, their win bumped their record up to 9-12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Western Harnett is set to face off against their familiar foe Union Pines at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, West Johnston will take on rival South Johnston at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
