Prosper is 8-2 against McKinney since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Lions at 7:15 p.m. Prosper will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

While Prosper's win against Plano wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wildcats 5-4.

Meanwhile, McKinney lost 14-4 to Plano West on Friday. The Lions have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Abbi James was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Prosper pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for McKinney, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-22-1.

Prosper skirted past McKinney 6-5 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
