The Briarcliff Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 58-45 to Barack Obama School for Social Justice. Briarcliff was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Barack Obama School for Social Justice apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Barack Obama School for Social Justice's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Seediya Jabbi led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Jabbi is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Elvin Adrian, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Briarcliff's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Barack Obama School for Social Justice, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
