Recap: Irondale Knights vs. Mounds View Mustangs
The Irondale Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They took a hard 74-59 fall against Mounds View. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Tuesday (56), Irondale still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Irondale still got an impressive performance from Jake Dedominces, who scored 34 points. That was a full 57.6% of Irondale's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Tahir Paye-baker was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Irondale bumped their record down to 2-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Mounds View, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.
Irondale will head out on the road to challenge White Bear Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. White Bear Lake has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 328 points over their last five matchups. As for Mounds View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
