Football Recap: Chickasaw Drops Highest Score of Season Against Washington County

Chickasaw extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They received a blow as they fell 35-21 to the Washington County Bulldogs. On the bright side, the 21- point performance marked the Chieftains' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Washington County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.3 points over those games.

Conner Williams was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 143 yards and a pair of TDs.

Chickasaw will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fruitdale at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Washington County, they will square off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
