Softball Recap: Churchill County Takes a Loss

Churchill County and Fernley squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Churchill County had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Vaqueros by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Greenwave have suffered since April 18th.

Churchill County's loss dropped their record down to 23-13. As for Fernley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 23 of their last 28 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Churchill County nor Fernley have any future games scheduled.
