Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paulding). They put the hurt on the Continental Pirates with a sharp 14-4 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Paulding is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Continental, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10-1.

Coming up, Paulding will take on Kalida at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Continental, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holgate at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
