Basketball Game Preview: South Ripley Raiders vs. Madison Cubs

The South Ripley Raiders will venture away from home to challenge the Madison Cubs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

South Ripley is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 58 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Greensburg last Saturday. They were beaten by the Pirates 64-21. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Madison entered their tilt with Southwestern on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They claimed a resounding 58-30 win over the Rebels. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 28 points or more this season.

Madison's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for South Ripley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
