Mount Paran Christian extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping them up to 29-10. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Northview Titans. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Masai Harper paced Mount Paran Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Harper got some help from Avery Kohler and her 19 assists. Kohler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

As for Northview, they now have a losing record of 15-16. Their loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avery Wagoner, who had nine digs and one assist. Jaslene Mercado was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Mount Paran Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Marist on the 27th. As for Northview, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Walker on the 25th.
