Volleyball Recap: Westmoor Takes a Loss

If Westmoor was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of The Academy - San Francisco last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders on Tuesday.

Westmoor was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-15.

Westmoor has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Archbishop Riordan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Westmoor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Archbishop Riordan, they will host Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
