Recap: Washington Bulldogs vs. Mount Paran Christian Eagles

The Washington Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Paran Christian. Washington was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mount Paran Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

It was another big night for Christopher Park, who scored 23 points for Mount Paran Christian. Another player making a difference was Tony LoPresti, who scored 14 points.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Mount Paran Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Washington will be playing at home against Walker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Walker's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against South Atlanta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Atlanta knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Mount Paran Christian likes a good challenge.
