Softball Recap: North Sanpete Comes Up Short

North Sanpete has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging 3.88 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles. The Hawks were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Golden Eagles' pitcher proved too tough.

North Sanpete saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Madsen, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

North Sanpete wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-4 loss against Payson on the 12th. As for Maple Mountain, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-6 defeat against South Sevier on the 12th.
