Volleyball Recap: Brooks Takes a Loss

Brooks lost against Hubbard back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooks started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-12, 25-20.

Hubbard can attribute much of their success to Sebastian Lara, who had 19 digs. Those 19 digs gave Lara a new career-high.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Hubbard, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-2.

Brooks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hancock on the 24th. As for Hubbard, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Juarez on the 23rd.
