Soccer Game Preview: Nova vs. NSU University

The Nova Titans will venture away from home to challenge the NSU University Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Last Friday, Nova didn't have quite enough to beat Pompano Beach and fell 3-2. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Golden Tornadoes recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, NSU University came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Saints. Given the Sharks' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Saints are ranked 386th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

NSU University's victory bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Nova, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1.

Nova might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from NSU University in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Can Nova avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
