Basketball Recap: Princeton Day Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Princeton Day hadn't done well against Peddie recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Princeton Day Panthers came out on top against the Peddie Falcons by a score of 37-29. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Princeton Day is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points per game. As for Peddie, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Princeton Day and West Windsor-Plainsboro South will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Peddie, they will host Hill School at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
