Volleyball Recap: Apopka Comes Up Short

Apopka lost against Lake Buena Vista on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Darters took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vipers. The Blue Darters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Marie Hughes paced Apopka's offense, picking up six kills. Hughes got some help from Taylor Cain and her 14 assists.

Apopka's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Lake Buena Vista, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Apopka didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Jones on the 25th. As for Lake Buena Vista, they will head out to face off against The First Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
