New Albany won the last time they faced Newark and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 7th (when they won 3-0).

New Albany was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Levi Starinsky and Michael Botkin, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Austin Noreikis and his 14 assists. Landry Sharrock controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

New Albany's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Newark, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Albany will square off against Dublin Jerome at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newark, they will challenge Bishop Watterson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
