Basketball Recap: Affton Comes Up Short

Affton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Brentwood Eagles, falling 63-14. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Affton's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Brentwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Affton will venture away from home to challenge Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brentwood, they will square off against Bayless at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
