Basketball Game Preview: GRACE Christian Eagles vs. Cary Christian Knights

The GRACE Christian Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Cary Christian Knights at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. GRACE Christian will be strutting in after a win while Cary Christian will be coming in after a loss.

GRACE Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 42-37 victory over Wake Christian Academy. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Cary Christian came up short against Trinity Academy on Friday, falling 58-32. The Knights have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Cary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for GRACE Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

GRACE Christian strolled past Cary Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 43-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for GRACE Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
