Volleyball Game Preview: Corydon Central Panthers vs. Springs Valley Blackhawks

The Corydon Central Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Springs Valley Blackhawks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Corydon Central has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Springs Valley will arrive with seven straight wins.

Corydon Central came up short against Christian Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Springs Valley got the win against Paoli on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Springs Valley was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-13.

Springs Valley's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Corydon Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.

Corydon Central couldn't quite get it done against Springs Valley when the teams last played back in September of 2018 as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
