Volleyball Recap: Cedar Park Comes Up Short

Cedar Park lost against Plano East back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Timberwolves fell 2-0 to the Panthers.

While Cedar Park was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19.

Cedar Park's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Plano East, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Cedar Park and Plano East could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Timberwolves (ranked 81st) will meet Lake Travis (ranked 12th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Plano East will square off against Plano West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (60 vs. 17).
