Softball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Eagles vs. Shekinah Christian Flames
Liberty Christian Academy's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Shekinah Christian Flames. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 18-10 win the Flames walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
Jerynn Miller made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Miller was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Madison Looney was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Meg Evenson, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
