Soccer Recap: Aspire Ollin Takes a Loss

Aspire Ollin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-3 to the Downtown Magnets Suns. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1136th, while the Suns are ranked 511th).

Alexander Quiroz and Christian Hernandez scored all three of Aspire Ollin's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Aspire Ollin's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Downtown Magnets, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record this season.

Aspire Ollin didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-3 draw against Central City Value on the 17th. Downtown Magnets has also already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Animo Bunche on the 16th.
