Volleyball Recap: Praise Academy Comes Up Short

Praise Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dominion Christian Knights, falling 3-0. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in August of 2021.

While Praise Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-15.

Praise Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dominion Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Praise Academy will take on Northwest Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dominion Christian, they will host Heritage at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
