MaxPreps 2014-15 Idaho Boys Basketball Fab 5 presented by the Army National Guard

1. Highland (Pocatello)
2013-14 record: 20-4
Head coach: Paul Rush

Saint Mary's signee Stefan Gonzalez averaged 19.8 points per game as a junior en route to first team all-state honors. Gonzalez is a leading candidate for state player of the year honors. Junior wing and fellow all-stater Connor Harding also returns, giving the Rams Idaho's best 1-2 punch.

2. Capital (Boise)
2013-14 record: 27-0, Class 5A state champion
Head coach: Tom Seifert



All-stater Derrick White is back to help the Eagles make a repeat bid. Fellow senior Tarik Littlejohn, a 6-foot-3 forward, will also be a big piece of the puzzle for Capital.

3. Century (Pocatello)
2013-14 record: 16-11
Head coach: Cody Shelley

The Diamondbacks lost in the 4A championship a year ago and will be favored to take the next step this season behind Maleek Harwell. The 6-3 senior guard averaged 22 points per game as a junior and signed with Boise State.

4. Borah (Boise)
2013-14 record: 18-8, Class 5A state runner-up
Head coach: Cary Cada



Cada has led the Lions to four state titles and guided them to appearances in each of the past three championship games. This year's group will have to do it without departed star Isaiah Wright, now a freshman at Utah.

5. Skyline (Idaho Falls)
2013-14 record: 20-8
Head coach: Clint Cornish

Eight players return from last season's 20-8 team, including honors candidates Mason Baker, Tyson Baker and Jai jai Ely.
