League recap: Noldon breaks off league-leading run for Arkoma

C District 4 (8 Man) recap Oct. 9, 2012

Tyree Noldon of Arkoma ran for the longest rushing play in C District 4 (8 Man) this season against Midway last week. Noldon's team topped the Chargers as he sprinted for 72 yards on the play and finished with 227 in all.

Webbers Falls took down Bokoshe 69-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Noldon put up the best numbers through the air as Arkoma defeated Midway. He finished with a total of one completions for 17 yards and one touchdown. Noldon's favorite target this week was Ethann Gates, who caught two passes for 30 yards.

Jonny Willis made the biggest impact on defense this week as Sasakwa lost to Temple. The 5-foot-5 freshman recorded two fumbles.

Trevor Morris was the best wideout in the league this week as the Vikings fell to the Tigers. Morris tallied five receptions for 53 yards. Forrest Henry helped Sasakwa's passing attack out by catching one ball for 20 yards.

Mark Weatherton's team's Nathan Gragg and Noldon have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gragg has thrown for 380 yards this season, while Noldon, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 14 catches for 316 yards. Henry from Sasakwa leads the league in rushing with 534 yards.

A big matchup in C District 4 (8 Man) this week will be when Maud takes on the Warriors. The Tigers are in third place, while Webbers Falls is in first place.

Shawn Dismuke's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 69 points on Bokoshe.
