West Brunswick's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to North Myrtle Beach on Tuesday. Everything went the Trojans' way against the South Brunswick Cougars as they made off with a 64-42 win. The Trojans have beaten the Cougars the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cougars has come to flipping the script.

West Brunswick's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Matthew McKenney, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Clarida, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds.

South Brunswick lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jayden Daniels, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards. Daniels is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season. Cameron Howard also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

West Brunswick now has a winning record of 2-1. As for South Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, West Brunswick will take on Whiteville at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Brunswick, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-45 victory against Southeastern HomeSchool on the 1st.
