Basketball Game Preview: Greenbrier Wolfpack vs. Effingham County Rebels

The Greenbrier Wolfpack just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Effingham County Rebels at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Greenbrier came up short against Lakeside and fell 54-47.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Effingham County). They secured a 63-59 W over South Effingham on Wednesday.

Effingham County's win came from a few key players Greenbrier will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kyjana Jordan, who posted 18 points. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nakera M Hawkins, who had 14 points.

Greenbrier's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Effingham County, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-18.

Greenbrier beat Effingham County 51-44 in their previous matchup last Friday. Will Greenbrier repeat their success, or does Effingham County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
