Basketball Recap: Casey-Westfield Takes Down Neoga in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Casey-Westfield rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Neoga Indians 60-29. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 26 points or more this season.

Hayden Parcel was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-10 en route to 19 points and seven boards. His big performance that morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Karras, who posted three points and 17 rebounds.

Casey-Westfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive matchups.

Casey-Westfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.8 points. Neoga's loss dropped their record down to 8-25.

Casey-Westfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-54 defeat against Tuscola on the 28th. Neoga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
