Volleyball Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside lost against Wren back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 22-25, 25-16.

Wren can attribute much of their success to Libby Claire Yarborough, who had 17 digs. Those 17 digs gave Yarborough a new career-high.

Westside's loss dropped their record down to 20-9-1. As for Wren, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-6-1.

Westside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Seneca on the 16th. As for Wren, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Travelers Rest at 6:00 p.m.
