Basketball Game Preview: Union City Bears vs. Reynolds Raiders

The Union City Bears will venture away from home to challenge the Reynolds Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Reynolds took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Union City, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Union City was fully in charge, breezing past Commodore Perry 70-40.

Meanwhile, Reynolds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 62-29 loss at the hands of Kennedy Catholic.

Reynolds' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Union City, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Union City took their victory against Reynolds in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 43-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for Union City since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
