Biloxi hasn't had much luck against Vancleave recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Biloxi Indians will host the Vancleave Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Biloxi will be strutting in after a win while Vancleave will be coming in after a defeat.

Biloxi is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They never let Gautier onto the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won nine in a row.

Kya Gammons looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Aubrey Atchison was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabbie Billings, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Vancleave had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Pearl River Central by a score of 9-8.
