Volleyball Recap: Lyons Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Lyons took on Ellsworth on Tuesday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Bearcats. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

While Lyons ultimately came up short, they really made Ellsworth work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 26-24.

Lyons' loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Ellsworth, their win bumped their record up to 16-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bearcats beat Lyons by a score of 2-0 later that day.
