Basketball Recap: Chapman Takes a Loss

Chapman was the 45-33 winner over Wamego when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Chapman Irish might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Wamego Red Raiders an easy 63-42 victory. The Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chapman's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wamego, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Chapman is taking a road trip to take on Clay Center at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clay Center will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Chapman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wamego, they will be home for the holidays to greet Abilene on Friday. Wamego is facing Abilene at the right time seeing as Abilene is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
