Volleyball Recap: St. Stephens Indians vs. Draughn Wildcats
St. Stephens posted their closest win since August 16, 2024 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Draughn Wildcats. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
St. Stephens was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (109-102), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 26-24, 25-23, 14-25, 15-12.
St. Stephens can attribute much of their success to Natalie Escamilla, who had 16 digs and four assists.
