Soccer Recap: Fishburne Military Comes Up Short

Fishburne Military lost against North Cross back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Caissons fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 4-3.

Femi Quartey and Ian Orengoh scored all three of Fishburne Military's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Fishburne Military dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Cross, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Fishburne Military will host Eastern Mennonite at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Cross, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fork Union Military Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Cross will be up against Fork Union Military Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.91 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
