Basketball Recap: North White Takes a Loss

North White and Tri-County squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but North White had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Tri-County Cavaliers and fell 58-18. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost five in a row.

North White's loss came despite strong showings from Braylon Sipkema and Chris Annis. Sipkema posted seven points, while Annis had four points. Charlie Williams also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Tri-County was led to victory by Trey Foster and Noah Pratt. Foster put up 13 points and six rebounds, while Pratt scored 11 points and three steals. Riley Hughes was another key player, putting up five points along with five boards and three steals.

North White's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Tri-County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-11.

North White does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tri-County, they will take on Pioneer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tri-County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season.
