Kartell Purvis Delivers Best  Effort of Season
  Kartell Purvis produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mater Dei Catholic to the win  on Friday. Purvis threw for 257 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt.
 The  victory was  the fourth in a row for Mater Dei Catholic, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. Purvis and Mater Dei Catholic will square off against Otay Ranch at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Another Game with at Least Six  Total Tackles from  David Smith
 Otay Ranch was led to victory by  David Smith, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Smith wasn't messing around, picking up  two  sacks and making 22 total tackles (4.0 for loss). The  contest was his 18th straight with six or   more total tackles dating back to last season.
 The  victory was  the fifth in a row for Otay Ranch, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Smith and Otay Ranch will challenge Mater Dei Catholic at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.

 While  Nassir Hicks delivered a dominant  performance  on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Sweetwater. Nobody could stop  Hicks as he made six total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 Sweetwater has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record  this season. Hicks and Sweetwater will welcome Eastlake  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.

 While  La'Darrione Perkins delivered a dominant  effort  on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Chula Vista. Despite the   loss,  Perkins was still balling out as he made four total tackles and defended a pass. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
 Chula Vista is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-4. Perkins and Chula Vista will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sweetwater at 6:30  p.m.  on October 25th.

Isaiah Cook Delivers Electric  Effort Vs Chula Vista
 Another Mater Dei Catholic player making an appearance on this list is  Isaiah Cook. He picked up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
