Volleyball Recap: Graford Comes Up Short

Graford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lindsay Knights, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rabbits of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lindsay scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-19.

Graford's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lindsay, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 25-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Graford will take on rival Chico at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lindsay is set to challenge their familiar foe Alvord at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
