Football Game Preview: Long Beach Bearcats vs. Hancock Hawks + How To Watch

The Long Beach Bearcats will challenge the Hancock Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Long Beach is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-21, which was the final score in Long Beach's tilt against Pearl River Central on Friday.

Long Beach's loss came about despite a quality game from Junior Brown, who rushed for 71 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Hancock fell victim to Pascagoula and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Panthers 35-0. The Hawks have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Long Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Long Beach came up short against Hancock in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 21-14. Can the Bearcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
