Football Game Recap: Eureka vs. Lafayette

Eureka were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They steamrollered Lafayette 56-17. That result was just more of the same for Eureka, who also won the last time these teams played.

The contest started off well for Eureka, whose offense put up 35 first-half points. Lafayette came up with 14 to make it 35-14 heading into the break. The Eureka defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 3 and all but finishing the contest. The win bumped their record up to 4-0. The defeat dropped Lafayette's record to 1-3.

Next week Eureka take on Parkway South at 7:00 PM. As for Lafayette, they will face off against Northwest.
