Marietta won the last time they faced Parkersburg and Haley Wilkinson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers came out on top against the Big Reds by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday thanks in part to Wilkinson, who had 25 digs and two aces. Wilkinson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

While Marietta might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Parkersburg scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Marietta found their leader in sophomore Wilkinson, who had 25 digs and two aces.

Marietta's record now sits at 10-4. As for Parkersburg, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 9-11 record.

Coming up, Marietta is taking a road trip to challenge Wheeling Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Parkersburg, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Cabell Midland on the 1st.
