Carbon is a perfect 10-0 against Emery since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Dinos will venture away from home to challenge the Spartans at 3:00 p.m.

Carbon was handed a eight-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Emery 4-3.

Carbon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kanon Childs, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Childs has posted since back in March. Logan Madrigal was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Carbon has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Emery, they dropped their record down to 7-16 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
