Basketball Recap: Big Walnut Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Big Walnut can now relate to. They took a blow against the Westerville North Warriors on Saturday, falling 79-50. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Big Walnut's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Westerville North, the victory (which was their 22nd in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

Big Walnut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westerville North, they will challenge St. Francis de Sales at 6:00 p.m. on March 16th. Westerville North knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully St. Francis de Sales likes a good challenge.
