Volleyball Recap: LKY Saints vs. Kentucky Country Day Bearcats

While LKY's win against Kentucky Country Day wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Saints sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Bearcats on Thursday. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day LKY got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 22-25, 25-16, 20-25, 15-10.

Grace Grider had an outrageously good game as she had 14 digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four). Ava Hood also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
