Basketball Game Preview: Grandville Bulldogs vs. Coopersville Broncos

The Grandville Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Coopersville Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Grandville has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight losses, while Coopersville will come in with four straight victories.

Last Friday, Grandville came up short against Hudsonville and fell 69-62. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Eagles are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Coopersville sidestepped Kenowa Hills for a 59-56 win.

Coopersville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Grandville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Grandville beat Coopersville 53-43 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Does Grandville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Coopersville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
