Soccer Game Preview: Eastside College Prep vs. Menlo School

Eastside College Prep hasn't had much luck against Menlo School recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eastside College Prep Panthers will take on the Menlo School Knights at 3:30 p.m.

Eastside College Prep lost 5-1 to Harker on Wednesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Menlo School). They never let Priory onto the board and left with a 5-0 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

They hit Priory with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rafe Weiden (2), Kieran Vazquez, Gabriel Gil, and Carter Techel.

Eastside College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Menlo School, they now have a winning record of 3-2-2.

Eastside College Prep suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Menlo School in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Eastside College Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
